The Team

Shahzad (known as Shaz) graduated in Law in 2000. He re-trained as a dentist, graduating in 2009 with a First Class in Dentistry. In 2011 he was appointed as a Member of the Joint Dental Faculties by the Royal College of Surgeons London; and later that year was also appointed as a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He has also been awarded a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and an ward by the British Endodontic Society for providing high quality root canal treatment to patients. Shaz has an interest in cosmetic dentistry, smile make-overs and facial aesthetics.

Shaz has been awarded a PGCE and gained qualifications from the University of Central Lancashire in teaching and mentoring. He works as a Trainer of newly graduated dentists and dental therapists.

Navid (known as Nav) graduated in Pharmacology in 2004. He re-trained as a dentist in London, graduating in 2010. He has been awarded a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry. Nav has a keen interest in dentures, crowns and bridges as well as white fillings.

Nav has been awarded a PGCE and has also gained qualifications from the University of Central Lancashire for teaching and mentoring. He works as an Educational Supervisor, training newly qualified dentists and dental therapists. He also works very closely with local colleges in helping to train dental nurses.

Imran graduated in Computer Science. He worked as an IT consultant for several years before joining the dental practice as a partner.

Imran is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the business in order to ensure the smooth running of the practice. This helps to ensure each patient is provided with highest level of care and has a comfortable experience whilst at the practice.

Vicky enjoys carrying out both NHS and private dentistry in order to provide the best service possible for patients. She enjoys carrying out orthodontic treatment and facial aesthetics such as Botox and Dermal Fillers to help patients achieve their cosmetic goals. Outside of work Vicky enjoys reading and travelling.

Mehak graduated from The University of Lancaster with an honours degree in Biomedical Science. She later went on to re-train as a dentist, qualifying with a BDS (Hons) from the University of Central Lancashire. As an undergraduate she was awarded the Pitt Ford Prize by the British Endodontic Society and achieved 3rd place in the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh dental skills competition.

Mehak has a keen interest in restorative dentistry and treatment of anxious patients. She has trained in facial aesthetics and can provide Botox and Dermal Fillers for the growing demand in cosmetic injectables. Outside of dentistry, Mehak enjoys travelling and playing sports.

Dr Viraj Parmar graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2021 with a passion for transforming smiles and enhancing confidence, with a commitment to ongoing education and a dedication to patient care. He offers a wide range of routine dental treatments as well as Invisalign, whitening and crown/bridge makeovers.

Since completing dental school, he has has honed his skills in cosmetic dentistry, successfully winning an award for the best case presentation for dentists in the North West region.

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active in the dental community, participating in workshops and seminars to keep up with the latest innovations in dentistry. Viraj looks forward to helping you achieve your dream smile and providing you with a comfortable, welcoming experience at every visit.

Zahra graduated from the University of Manchester. She has a keen interest in Oral surgery, paediatric dentistry and the management of anxious patients. 

Aside from dentistry Zahra enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.

Dr. Mohammed Usman Qureshi, a dental professional who graduated from Liverpool dental school. My passion lies in all areas of dentistry, but I have a particular interest in restorative and prosthetic treatment. I believe in treating my patients with the utmost respect and dignity, always prioritizing their well-being. I maintain an unwavering dedication to constantly improving my craft by reviewing my work through clinical photographs and thorough analysis. During my university years, I challenged myself by participating in the RCSEd Dentsply Sirona Dental Clinical Skills Competition 2021/2022, and I was honoured to receive a two-year affiliation with the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. I was also honoured to be awarded the Liverpool University Scholarship prize for my presentation on the significance of Oral Health.

Arij graduated from the University of Manchester in 2023. She has a warm and welcoming approach to ensure all her patients have a positive experience at the dentist. 

She enjoys managing anxious patients and restoring their confidence by keeping a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the dental surgery.

Outside of dentistry Arij enjoys travelling, baking trying different cuisines and spending time with family and friends. 

Aaron Boland graduated with First Class Honours in Dental Hygiene and Therapy from the University of Leeds in 2021. He then continued his studies in Dentistry at the same university, graduating with Distinction. During his time at dental school, he completed a master’s-level research project exploring the teaching of occlusion within the undergraduate curriculum.

Aaron has a keen interest in patient communication and education. He is passionate about ensuring patients fully understand their diagnosis and treatment plan, as well as the important role they play in achieving their personalised oral health goals.

Outside of dentistry, Aaron enjoys going to the gym, running, and spending time with his family and friends.

Sara graduated from the University of Leeds in dental hygiene and therapy. Her main objective is to improve a patients oral health through preventative and restorative care, returning confidence in their smile. Sara also has a keen interest paediatric dentistry and offers a supportive and friendly environment for all ages. 

Outside of work Sara enjoys going to the gym, hiking and spending time with friends and family. 

Hana graduated from the University of Leeds in 2023 as a Dental Therapist/Hygienist.

My main aim is to make patients feel at ease when undergoing any kind of dental treatment. I have a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry and outside of work I enjoy travelling and spending time with family.

Carmen started working at the practice in 2009 as a trainee dental nurse and then qualified as a dental nurse in 2011. Carmen qualified in Promoting Oral Health and Fluoride Application in 2014. 'She now provides oral hygiene advice, diet advice and fluoride varnish application to patients of the practice.

Joanna has worked at the practice for a number of years. She initially started work as an Apprentice Nurse and became the Head Nurse at the practice in 2019. She is responsible for managing a number of tasks, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient running of practice on a day to day basis.
